2021 is almost here - I know I’m ready to say peace out to 2020 and kick off a brand new year! Did you know that only 8% of people actually achieve their New Year’s resolutions? And most people have given up on their goals by January 12th… not even halfway through the first month of the year! So many people fail at reaching their goals because they’re missing a key component: accountability. You have a 65% chance of completing a goal if you commit to someone. And if you have specific accountability appointments with that person? You increase your chances of success by up to 95%! That’s a pretty big deal. And that’s why I would like to invite you to join my first support + accountability group of 2021! We will be toasting to a new year and creating healthy habits to sustain us through all of 2021. Mindset is everything when it comes to making significant changes to your lifestyle. If you want a different result... you have to do different things. I mean, the definition of insanity is doing the same things and expecting different results! So, I’ve got some tips for you that are going to be a game-changer when it comes to creating that new beginning for yourself. Spoiler alert - none of these have to do with eating well or working out… and everything to do with creating the mindset that will help you to transform your life! ✨ Be fiercely protective of what you let enter your mind - I mean, you’ve got to be seriously intentional about filling your mind with thoughts + ideas that build you up. Not sure where to start? Podcasts are a great free resource, audio books allow you to finish more books, and the Meditation + Relaxation tile on BOD is amazing! ✨ Control the controllable. Let’s be honest, life gets crazy and sometimes, your day just won’t go as planned. Focus on the things you can control - whether that’s making sure you press play, being intentional about what you eat, or just taking a moment to breathe before you react. ✨ Set boundaries. Easier said than done, I know. But I promise if you establish the boundaries and stick to them, the people in your life will adapt. Those 30 minutes to get your workout in is necessary. Having that moment to sit and meditate can be critical to maintaining your own mental health so that you can continue to show up for everyone else. Want more tips for living your best life?
